365 PROJECT (2021)
In 2020, I had great difficulties in taking pictures due to the pandemic situation and a deep lack of motivation, so I decided to begin a 365 Project in 2021 to have a reason to go out and shoot: I shot and posted on my blog a photo every day for 365 days to have a visual diary of that year, for me a year of rebirth. It was not easy to take a (nice) photo every single day of the year but I succeeded. Not every image is actually good but that’s okay. During that year I (re)learned to keep my eyes wide open and now, after my 365 Project, I’m finally ready to fill my eyes again with love and wonder.
The photos are mostly taken in Rome, but there are pictures of Monopoli, Napoli, Barcelona, Sicily and many other places. I tried to freeze some moments of daily life to document my 2021 and finally I can look back at that year with this diary of memories. It was a year full of streets, people, life, sport. A year full of friends, surprises, feelings, different perspectives and many other things. Above all, it was a year full of walks, full of steps, where I learned to better understand my relationship with photography. It was a challenge with myself, I didn’t cheat and I’m proud of the result of this 365 Project. All the pictures are taken with a Ricoh GR III Street Edition.
